The overall vision for the development is a village with residential, commercial and hotel/catering sectors according to the plan shown above. This plan is also the base of our appliance in Sorbas town hall for building licences.
Our goal is to achieve a village where the inhabitants form a stable group of people who more or less know and trust each other; living in a safe and modern village with a high standard of infrastructure and using modern technology. At the same time enjoying an ambiance, which reflects its history and use. As far as possible we plan to use the existing architectural style to preserve the past in the present (see the artists impression on the village history page), maintaining and where necessary, reproducing the typical essence of an Andalucian village.
The final vision for the village is to recreate, from the outside at least, the Andalucian grouping of village houses. The artists impression on the village history page is how the finished strret will look. This style seemingly linked by a continuous façade, will maintain the character of Campicos main street not just another urbanisation. As the houses are detached, they will have separate access to their own gardens behind the houses, and they will have shaded parking in the 'porches'. Naturally this is an important and necessary feature during the summer months.

The pool area is a bank of former agricultural ground behind the village nucleus. The pool is already under construction, the concrete is sprayed' there is also a separate 'baby pool'. Male, female and disabled toilets are already built. On both long sides are walls to keep the prevailing winds off and to give security for families with children. We will use the winter months of 2005/ 2006 to begin the planting, so that there will be established garden areas for the opening in the summer 2006. In area 2 there are 6 plots of 200 to 300 m2 (click on 'area 2 plans' on thr right). The size of the houses will be 150 m2 , with private garden looking south/southeast. The houses are planned with 2 floors: downstairs the main bedroom plus enSuite, a wide kitchen-dining-living room area and a guest toilet. Upstairs there will be 2 or 3 bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, 1 or 2 terraces (partly covered, porch type) or optional a study/library. The houses will have the typical Andalucian roofs with roof tiles and heading in different directions, maintaining the original character of a village street.
